A Squirrel on the move

Unfortunately, the little critter wouldn't stay still! I watched this wee guy for about 10 minutes.... he was doing the same thing over and over again: pick up an acorn, check if it is a good one; run over (from tree to tree) to a little acorn cache (prepared earlier obviously!), bury the acorn....run back to where the acorns are etc etc. Very cute! The photo doesn't do him justice. Of course the locals look at you like, gee she must be simple!; coz they're everywhere! This was on the uni campus.

Hi everyone!

Well I have arrived in Edmonton, safe and happy! It smells like pine trees and is very big! Spent a lovel day in the sun at San Francisco, which reminds me a bit of Auckland actually, with the water front and bridge etc...

We ate hotdogs and cheked out the Mall...photos explain all that :) The dude in the middle of the state troopers is Sam, who took an oppurtunity of stay behind a night in San Fran, at the expense of United airlines because they had double booked the flight.. they put him in a hotel and have gifted him with $600 travelling credit as well as a flight tonight into Edmonton. Godd on him for volunteering I say! I didn't mind, it has given me the chance to talk one on one with Lesa anyways :)

I stole this idea off my cuzzies, who like me are very popular people.
