Look at those mountains, aren't they boomers?

The photos cant capture the whole scene of course, when driving through the Rockies...you are in constant awe! Words like, magnificent, splendid and majestic come to mind ;p in the words of Mike, they are "boomers" for sure!

all the lovely xmas paraphenalia!

This seems so much more fitting then Christmas in NZ, what with today being a high of -12 and a refreshing low of -23, and snow on the ground...Christmas finally makes sense!
You know its cold when your eyes hurt, your fingers go numb with two pairs of gloves on, and the snot in your nostrels freezes ;p I even shovelled the snow of the footpath, but I didn't quite finish the job, coz I felt a little hypothermic.

Christmas time...

O Canada!

This morning, Lesa and I woke early (Sat).. and did a photography mission... we were quite pleased with the results! The sunrise gave that brilliant orange glow, which made the Edmonton Legislature building look really majestic. Then we went to Tim Hortons for breakie (doughnuts and BLTS = Good). :)

very splendid indeed!

They have these big spiders in Edmonton...

Actually this was my first birthday present from Shannon and Jeremy.
This guy was inspired by a story I told them of how in Motueka there used to be the big trapdoor spiders which would always end up floating in the school swimming pool.

Shannon and Jeremy

Jeremy is my flatmate, and Shannon is his girlfriend :)

Saturday Activity:- walkathon

This is the first shot I have got of Lesa, she is there with the green jacket...she's a little camera shy!

Raised enough to build 8 houses in the Phillipenes!
